Ms. Gill is an experienced attorney who has represented and counseled employers on diverse employment and labor matters including Title VII, the ADA, FMLA, the Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Navdeep has also conducted work-place culture audits and sexual harassment training, prepared employee handbooks and employment policies for employers, negotiated and drafted employment contracts and severance agreements, and counseled employers regarding employee classification. Ms. Gill has represented employers and employees before various federal and state employment agencies including the EEOC, Illinois Department of Human Rights, Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, and the Illinois Department of Employment Security, and represented clients in federal and state court. She has litigated Title VII, IHRA, retaliatory discharge, ADA, whistleblower, workers’ compensation, and breach of employment contract claims. Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Gill clerked for a two-year term in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County for the Honorable Judge Donald J. O’Brien, Jr.. In Chancery, she conducted administrative review of school board and judicial review of labor arbitration decisions. Ms. Gill spent many years at an Am Law 100 firm litigating employee benefit matters and providing legal counsel to some of the largest employers in the country and worked at a boutique employment law firm. Ms. Gill was a board member of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois from 2004-2010. Ms. Gill completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Calgary, Haskayne School of Business graduating with a Bachelors in Business and completed her Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota, School of Law.
