After clerking at the firm, during his last year of law school, Mr. Adam Dauksas joined the firm as an associate after passing the bar exam in April 2010. Mr. Dauksas is a 2010 graduate of the John Marshall Law School. Mr. Dauksas is practicing in the Chicago cffice.


In March 2010, Mr. George Lalich joined the firm as an associate. Mr Lalich has been practicing law for over 30 years and is working in the Chicago office.


During the 2009-2010 holiday season, Scariano, Himes and Petrarca, Chtd., raised over $3000 for the "Letters for Santa" program.  The money was used to buy presents for 40 children from 15 disadvantaged families.  The firm intends to continue its participation in the program in the upcoming years with a goal of raising even more money to help children's holiday dreams come true.    


In fall 2009, Mr. Justino D. Petrarca was named Chair of the Labor Relations Committee of the NSBA Council of School Attorneys.


Mr. Anthony G. Scariano and Ms. Jessica Bargnes drafted the article Why Use a Psychological Expert Witness in Sexual Misconduct Cases, which was published in the July 2009 Edition of Inquiry and Analysis, a publication of the National School Boards Association.


Ms. Alicia Garcia drafted the article Impact of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 on School Districts, which was published in the June 2009 Edition of Inquiry and Analysis, a publication of the National School Boards Association.


In 2008 Ms. Trisha Olson and Ms. Jacqueline Litra joined Scariano, Himes and Petrarca as associates. Ms. Olson is a recent graduate of the New York School of Law, and taught high school prior to attending law school. Ms. Litra is a recent graduate of the Michigan State University School of Law. Both Ms. Olson and Ms. Litra practice in the Chicago office.
